A WOMAN has been arrested after a man was hit by a car in Trearddur bay on Thursday night. North Wales Police received a call at 11.18pm reporting a collision between a man and a vehicle in Lon Crecrist. Officers attended the scene, as did members of the Welsh Ambulance Service, following which the man was taken to hospital with serious and life threatening injuries. A police spokesperson confirmed this afternoon a woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving. A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called by police at about 11.25pm on Thursday 10 November to reports that a man had been struck by a vehicle on Lon Crecrist in Trearddur Bay.  “A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and a crew in an emergency ambulance attended the scene and the man was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with serious and life threatening injuries. “He has since been transferred to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.”
