Jules Peters, Mike’s wife and organiser of The Gathering, said: “Mike and I tour all over the world and visit some amazing places but The Gathering weekend holds a special place in our hearts, where all our nearest and dearest gather together in our homeland of North Wales.

“I’m already putting the finishing touches to the arrangements for The Gathering 25.

Mike Peters said: “For a musician, there’s nothing better than playing a home town concert with your best fans from around the world all under one roof. I feel a very lucky man.”

Speaking about the event on Facebook, Simon Williams said: “It's like having all your closest friends round for an incredible party and the music is provided by a brilliant band who you all happen to like. Never fails to deliver the music, the love, the hope and feed us all with the strength we need.”

Mike also launched Snowdon Rocks for June 18 2016 and the forthcoming '351120' appeal which has already raised more than £176,000 pounds to help other cancer sufferers and families in troubled times.
