A BLOGGER and tweeter accused of asking another blogger "do you want to fight?" after they met in a Llandudno street has been conditionally discharged for a year.
The town's magistrates declined to impose a restraining order on Darren Laverty, 46, of Maes Hyfryd, Llanfair PG, but he must pay £100 costs.
He admitted disorderly behaviour.
Prosecutor Julia Galston said Laverty and Royden Jones had known each other for a number of years and there had been disputes between them.
Mr Jones had visited Llandudno for the day with his family last April.
The defendant told police they had a "chance" encounter in Mostyn Street, the prosecutor added.
Bethan Williams, defending, said there was a history between the two men and Laverty claimed he was referred to on Mr Jones's blog.
Laverty doesn't work, the solicitor added.
