WHATEVER colours you wear when England clash with Wales in Cardiff, Colwyn Bay has the perfect comedy line up to laugh it off or revel in riotous laughter.

A brace of comedy events from Stand-up at the Seaside will both lead in and follow up the rugby on Saturday, February 23.

With England playing Wales in the Six Nations earlier in the day, Stand-up at the Seaside has provided a top line-up of hilarious comedians at She Station.

This month the headline act is Steve Shanyaski, who has performed to audiences as diverse as bikers in a field to royalty, and now he's coming to Colwyn Bay.

His TV credits include Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford and Comedy Central.

Shanyaski is joined by rising star Pete Phillipson whose weird and wonderful stories will have the crowd in stitches, along with support from Dawn Rigby as well as regular MC Dave Rothnie and audience joke competition.

Saturday's gig is the second in two days for Stand-up at the Seaside, which will also host a one-off special to raise money for Colwyn Bay football club on Friday February 22.

The gig willfeature two of the fastest rising stars on the comedy circuit. Fresh from being voted best stand-up at this month's North-West comedy awards, Dan Nightingale will top the bill with Chris Washington, whose brilliant stories are reminiscent of Peter Kay at his best.

Stand-up at the Seaside will be at the Red Lion Food Stadium on Llanelian Road, Old Colwyn on Friday, February 22 at 8pm, and returns to the Station the following day at the same time

Tickets for Saturday are £12.50, available from the Station pub or by contacting dcrothnie@gmail.com, and £10 for Friday's fun from donnacbfcevents@gmail.com.
