TICKETS for an open air concert at Rhyl Events Arena by Sir Tom Jones have gone on sale.

National treasure and Welsh singing legend Sir Tom Jones will take to the stage on Wednesday, September 1.

The show is an additional date for North Wales for the legendary singer alongside several rescheduled shows across the UK.

Standing tickets costing £67.18 each and Hospitality Tickets costing £137.50 each went on general sale on Friday, April 16 at 10am and are available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.rhylpavilion.co.uk.

With a career spanning over five decades, Sir Tom is a tour de force in music, winning the admiration of critics for his live performances and a career that has seen him record over 40 albums.

In that time, he has amassed more than 100 million record sales, scored 36 UK top 40 hits and seen him knighted for his services to music.

Pablo Janczur, director of the Cardiff-based concert promoter Orchard Live, said: “When we brought Tom to Colwyn Bay in 2015 everyone had such a good time, we just knew we had to bring him back to North Wales. Such an iconic artist coming to town means only one thing – a night to remember.”

Sir Tom, who turned 80 last year, performed in Colwyn Bay at Access All Eirias in 2014.

The pop legend said at the time that returning to Wales to perform is “always a treat.”
