ESSEX troubadour Beans On Toast is heading to North Wales in the spring.

Swiftly following his winter tour in support of recent album The Inevitable Train Wreck, Beans will be hitting the road once again - heading to haunts new and old to plays favourites from his 11-album strong back catalogue.

He will be appearing at the Tivoli, in Buckley, on April 24.

The Coming To A Town Near You Tour will see Beans playing a string of shows through March and April, many of them off the beaten track.

In his words, he's doing the tour because he “loves it”.

Speaking about the new tour, he said: "Turns out there's still lots of towns in the country that I haven't ever played."

He’s a hippy, a punk, a poet, a drunk, a die-hard romantic and an eternal optimist.

Beans On Toast sings simple songs that tackle big issues, plus political protest songs for the modern day, and honest and open love songs.

The Beans on Toast live show is an odd and unpredictable experience.

A singer, songwriter and storyteller, his self-deprecating quality is not something you often see, but it breaks down the barrier between musician and audience, creating a sense of equality.
