AFTER a hugely popular first event, people will have the chance to laugh in the aisles in the Vale of Clwyd once again.

Standup for Denbigh held its first ever event back in January - and a further comedy night will be staged at Theatr Twm o'r Nant on Wednesday, February 26.

The first spot of live comedy at Theatr Twm o’r Nant was a night that witnessed an incredible atmosphere and lots of laughter.

MC Mwddrwg and her line up of fantastic acts delivered a solid evening of comedy and laughter at the venue at the end of January.

With the theatre almost filled to capacity, the night was a very proud achievement for the organisers, with the support and hard work of the volunteers at Theatr Twm o’r Nant.

Wrapping up the night all the way from Glossop was Andy Quirk, who entertained all with his brand of musical comedy.

Everyone agreed that the night had been a big success.

Organisers Sarah and Nia wish to thank everyone for making the night such a pleasure to host, while a sincere thanks goes to Lottie Costello for her support.

For the next Standup for Denbigh comedy night, artistes will include Gemma Roberts, Andy Quirk, Anthony Grogan, Natalie Husdan, Jack Kelly, Sarah Lloyd and Allan Lear.

The MC will be Nia Lloyd Williams.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the show will start at 8pm.

Tickets are £5 and they are be available from Costello’s Florists on Vale Street, in Denbigh.
