PREPARE to be taken right to the edge with the perfect mix of traditional and Contemporary Irish dance in Rhyl next year.

Gaelforce Dance will bring all the enchanting raw energy of Ireland's national dance form to the Pavilion's stage on Wednesday, February 13.

The celebration of Irish dance, music and song, has dynamically tapped its way into the beating hearts of millions of audience members worldwide since its inception in 1999.

This dance spectacular has enjoyed tremendous success on a global scale performing in over 30 countries, across four continents and playing to over two million people.

The international phenomenal is the story of two lovers, Lorcan and Aisling who, as the tale begins, are blissfully unaware of the passion that will erupt between them, leading the lovers into a maelstrom of forbidden love and their community into a cauldron of hate.

As the story unfolds, a chance meeting sparks the ill-fated affair where broken loyalties and jealousy tear two brothers apart. Only after the ultimate tragedy are the brothers once more united.

Produced by Michael Durkan and choreographed by Richard Griffin, Gaelforce Dance expertly weaves intricate choreography, thundering rhythms, enchanting melodies and a compelling storyline into a stirring tale of told through the unique dance form.

Griffin said: “We aim to be different from other shows; we are more theatrical. We operate by a very sharp edge which it is very challenging for our dancers, but the experience of our show is irreplaceable and much more emotional and immediate.”

For exhilarating choreography, heart wrenching tragedy and electrifying music, head the Pavilion on Wednesday, February 13 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £24, with concessions available, to book head to rhylpavilion.co.uk or call the box office on 01745 330000.
