A FESTIVE family treat with a fishy twist is set to return to Rhyl this weekend.

Santa is coming to town once again, setting up shop at Rhyl SeaQuarium, on the East Parade, for a full month seasonal themed sealife exhibits from Saturday, November 24 until Christmas eve.

Aimed at the entire family, the aquarium will be hosting a traditional Santa’s grotto - complete with Santa’s helper elves - in it’s novel setting, decked out with hundreds of lights, decorations and animated characters as well as a Christmas Tree Maze.

Appropriately for the winter wonderland theme, SeaQuarium will be tailoring their daily show with resident seals with a special tale of how they saved Christmas.

Santa will be trading his reindeer for seals in the interactive show, complete with handlers festively dressed as elves who will regail guests with a whole host of traditional Christmas tales.

Santa’s Grotto will be open from 12pm until 4pm every weekend from Saturday, November 24, and then everyday from Saturday, December 1 until Christmas Eve.

Bookings are now open for Santa at SeaQuarium, and and can be made by visiting seaquarium.co.uk.

Prices start at £5.99, with group tickets availble, admission includes access to the SeaQuarium, including all the exhibits, as well as nine different zones and Seal Cove.
