CYNGOR SIR YNYS MON / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (VALLEY LEVEL CROSSING) ORPER NO.2 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys MOn/lsle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles from travelling in either direction across the Valley Level Crossing, Station Road, Valley.
The Order is necessary for Network Rail to remove the road crossing and excavate wet beds.
The alternative route will be from the north eastern point of the closure. Travel in a north easterly direction along the B4545 Station Road, Valley to the crossroads with the A5 by the Valley Hotel. Turn left onto the A5 and proceed in a north westerly direction to the junction with Spencer Road. Then turn left onto Spencer Road and proceed in a south westerly direction to the junction with the B4545 Station Road, and vice versa for traffic travelling in the opposite direction.
The Order comes into effect on 5th May, 2018 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 1 month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will take place between 10:00pm on 5th May, 2018 and 9:30am on 6th May, 2018.
