THE CHEAPEST places to get unleaded petrol in Anglesey, Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as motorists are warned that average fuel prices will hit £2 per litre this summer.
The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts rose marginally from 169.0p per litre on May 30 to 175.6p on Monday, 6 June, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest places for petrol are:
Asda Llangefni – 172.7p
Shell Menai Bridge – 172.9p
Asda Bangor – 174.7p
Texaco Llangefni – 174.9p
Unbranded forecourt at Cemaes Bay – 174.9p
Texaco Bangor – 174.9
Tesco Extra Bangor – 174.9p
The most expensive places for petrol are:
Morrisons Holyhead – 175.9p
Morrisons Caernarfon – 175.9p
Texaco Caernarfon (South Road) – 177.9p
Jet Holyhead – 179.9p
Texaco Beaumaris – 179.9p
Essar Holyhead – 180.9p
Gulf Gaerwen (Gaerwen Crossroads) – 181.9p
