HUNDREDS of people turned out for the parade at the Deiniolen festival.
The event was the culmination of a week-long programme of entertainment, which included a 10k road race, a treasure hunt, tug of war and pool competitions. The colourful parade then wound through the village to the football ground.
Over the years, the festival has gained a reputation for its imaginative, home-made fancy dress costumes.
This year’s event was no exception with children and adults joining in.
