LLANGEFNI Town manager Chris Roberts has pulled off a transfer coup after agreeing terms with three high-profile arrivals.

The Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One title hopefuls revealed that goalkeeper Dylan Roberts and Marvin Pritchard have signed on for the coming season, while Town also announced the capture of prolific forward Alan Mark Owen from Llanrug United.

This is the latest huge boost for the ambitious club, who harbour ambitions of going one better next time around after finishing second behind recently promoted Conwy Borough after a closely run title race.

A number of key members of the squad have also re-committed to the club, and the three new signings also significantly strengthen a talented group Owen has long been recognised as one of the most lethal finishers operating outside of the top two divisions, and he played a huge role in United’s outstanding third-placed finish last term.

He managed to hit 17 goals thanks to a series of exceptional individual displays during the season.

Roberts, said: “I am delighted to have added three quality signings to our squad in Marvin, Alan Mark and Dylan.

“The squad is beginning to take shape now with 15 already signed. I wanted to get the squad sorted early this year so we can go into pre-season knowing exactly who we have to work with and getting ready for the start of the season in August.

“Marvin is very athletic, fit player who is tidy on the ball, Dylan is an outstanding goalkeeper whilst Alan Mark is no doubt one of the best finishers around his record over past two seasons speaks for itself.

“I am looking forward to getting started with the squad and you can look out for more signing in the coming days.”
