CONWY Borough boss Gareth Thomas has confirmed that three key squad members have agreed to stay on at the club.

The Tangerines enjoyed a memorable treble-winning campaign and secured a return to the Huws Gray Alliance at the first time of asking, in addition to claiming the FAW Trophy and Lock Stock Cookson Cup.

Thomas has wasted no time in tying down key members of the squad, with Dean Seager making a huge impression on the Boro’ set-up after arriving at Y Morfa during the second half of the campaign.

The former Llandudno forward came up with some important goals and developed a strong partnership with the prolific Corrig McGonigle that went a long way to them pipping Llangefni Town to the championship.

Seager boasts plenty of experience within the second tier and recorded double digits for Llandudno Junction last term despite their struggles to adjust to a higher standard of opposition.

Another to sign on the dotted line is Tom Creamer, who has firmly established himself as a fan-favourite thanks to his incredible workrate and creative influence on the field.

Rounding off the signatures is Gethin Maxwell, who is also expected to feature heavily for the Tangerines next season.

The move highlights Thomas’ desire to give the majority of the current squad a chance to prove themselves in the HGA, although he has stated that a few new acquisitions will be pursued as they look to re-establish themselves as a force within the high-profile division.
