LLANRUG United ended their Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One fixtures with a 3-3 draw home draw against Llanrwst United.

The Gwynedd side have enjoyed a memorable campaign that has seen them secure a third placed finish, with only champions Conwy Borough and Llangefni Town ahead of them in the standings.

The away side drew first blood after a positive opening to proceedings on 19 minutes when Morgan Owen hit the net, and things got even better as the half wore on thanks to Sam Roberts converting a chance with 36 gone.

After the break saw a complete turnaround in fortunes, which began with the home side reducing the arrears on 54 minutes through Dylan Owen, and the same player was on hand to level matters from the penalty spot on 64.

With momentum now on their side, the hosts took full advantage and looked to have secured all three points late on when another outstanding attacking move saw Carl Roberts put them ahead for the first time in the contest.

Credit to the visitors, they kept plugging away and managed to rescue a share of the spoils in stoppage time when Chris Beardmore netted an equaliser.

Elsewhere, goals from George Southern and Paul Lewis gave Barmouth and Dyffryn United a 2-1 home triumph over St Asaph City.

Bodedern Athletic’s hopes of securing the Division Two title are over after a 2-1 loss at Llannefydd.

A last minute strike from Jared Jones was enough to give the home side all three points, handing the title to Prestatyn Sports despite their 2-1 defeat at Y Felinheli.

Blaenau Amateurs were undone by a four-goal salvo from league top scorer Matty Griffiths in their 4-1 reverse at Meliden.
