LLANDUDNO continued their sensational WRU National League Division One North form with a 27-10 win over Caernarfon.

It has been a season of great promise at Maesdu Road as they continue to firmly establish themselves as a top-flight force, and they now have a realistic chance of a top three finish with a number of games still to play.

The home side started off strongly and went ahead early on when intense pressure resulted in Byron Davies went over, and the same player was on hand to extend their advantage with another well-worked try on ten minutes.

The Cofis got themselves on the scoreboard when Iolo Hughes crossed the white wash soon after for a converted score, but the hosts completely dominated proceedings in the second period during another polished all-round performance.

Ryan Pike drilled over a penalty to claim his first points of the afternoon, and the standout was at his brilliant best to round off a superb passing move to touch down and convert.

Credit to the visitors, they kept plugging away but despite having numerous chances to get back into the clash were unable to find a way past the resolute Dudno rearguard and it was Pike who once again made them pay late on when he dived over for his second score.

The same player fired over the extras to seal the success, and they entertain Bethesda on Saturday looking to extend their outstanding run (2.30pm).
