MENAI Bridge ended their league season with an impressive 24-8 win at Denbigh Seconds.
Bridge's ill-discipline was punished by Ben Reed, who slotted a penalty, for the first score of the game, and they suffered a setback soon after when they were reduced to 14-men following a yellow card.
This seemed to galvanise the visitors to greater efforts and concerted pressure on the home try line, which resulted in a try from scrum-half Gareth Parry, and this was swiftly followed just before the break with their second score of the afternoon from Gerwyn Morris, both of which were unconverted.
A cagey start to the second period brought little in the way of opportunities for either side, with the away side crossing the white wash to extend their advantage on the hour mark, with Dion McGrath adding the extras.
They followed this up with another score and conversion soon after, and despite Roger Clayton reducing the arrears with the hosts only try of the contest late on, it did not take the gloss off another fine away performance from Bridge.
The squad now turn their attention to Gwynedd Cup glory on May 13 when they travel to Holyhead for a semi-final clash.
