MENAI Bridge returned to action with a convincing 24-15 bonus point victory over Mold Seconds.

The fourth-placed side WRU National League Division Three North side produced a scintillating first half display that saw them go into the break with a 24-point cushion.

The home side came out of the blocks flying and a brace of tries from Harri Williams gave them a fantastic platform from which to build.

This was swiftly followed by further scores from Lee McGrath and veteran Dave Williams, with Daniel Hughes despatching two of his conversion attempts.

After the break saw the visitors finally start to impose themselves on proceedings, which brought with it three tries courtesy of Tom Davies (2) and Oliver Heald as they began to use the worsening conditions to their advantage.

This ensured a nervy ending to proceedings, but Bridge managed to keep the away side from adding to their tally thanks to some sterling defensive work to give them their ninth win in 16 league contests.
