FRANCE U20s made it a double celebration after clinching their Six Nations crown with a comfortable 24-3 win over Wales at Stadiwm Zip World in Colwyn Bay.

With the women’s side securing a Grand Slam just hours earlier, the onus was on the talented French to make it a night to remember for the country, and they managed to do so in dominant fashion thanks to a stunning all-round display from the group.

Jason Strange made nine changes to Wales' starting line-up following last week's defeat to Italy, but his side were overpowered by French forwards throughout the one-sided affair.

The visitors made a sensational start and were quickly in-front thanks to a score from Romain Ntamack, and this was quickly followed by a fine move which resulted in Clement Laporte touching down.

Things got even better for the away side soon after when Cameron Woki crossed the white wash, and their final score arrived courtesy of Jules Gimbert to give them a commanding lead that the young Welsh side could not recover from.

The hosts’ only points came in the first period through a Cai Evans penalty on a frustrating evening where they rarelt threatened the try-line, and despite having Georges Colombe sent to the sin bin in the closing stages the French held on with minimal fuss to secure the U20 Six Nations crown.
