BETHESDA turned in another efficient performance on their travels to secure a 12-0 triumph at Caernarfon.

The struggling Cofis failed to find a way past the resolute Pesda defence in difficult conditions, and the result sees the WRU National League Division One North rivals switch positions in the standings.

Both sides found it hard to cope with the slippery surface in the early stages, with the visitors drawing first blood thanks to a pair of successful penalties from full-back Gethin Long.

The same player was on hand to extend the away side’s advantage on 25 minutes with another well-struck penalty, while at the other end Michael Downey was denied a try after a superb last-ditch tackle on the line.

Long ended the first period with his fourth penalty of the afternoon to complete the scoring, with neither side able to make a further impression on the scoreboard despite enjoying long periods of possession after the break.
