MENAI Bridge returned to action with an impressive 29-8 bonus point victory at Benllech.
Despite the eventual result, it was the hosts who started the brighter and went ahead on 12 minutes with the first try of the contest, but this was met with improved handling from the visitors who got back on level terms through Sam Williams on the half hour mark.
Bridge took the lead just before the break when Tomos Glyn fired over a penalty, and things got even better after the interval when Corrie Shorrock produced a fine individual run to cross the white wash.
This was soon followed by another score which came through a well-worked move which created space for Pat Roberts to touch down, and substitute Mark Dawson wasted no time in making an impact to crash over. Dion McGrath added the extras to give them a bonus point.
The scoring was rounded off late on when prop Dilwyn Morris defied his size to beat several defenders to score, with McGrath firing over the conversion to move the away side into fourth spot in the WRU National League Division Three North standings.
