BRO Ffestiniog were unable to pick up some much-needed points as they fell to a 33-0 shutout loss at Llandudno.

The hosts began the game on the front foot and they went ahead after a surge from the pack following a driving maul resulted in Bobbie Davies crossing the white wash, with Ryan Pike firing over the extras.

This was swiftly followed by another score from Lloyd Evans, who touched down with ease after a fine team move. Pike added the conversion.

After the interval saw the home side continue to dominate matters and they pulled further clear when the pacey Nick Maxwell latched on to a Pike kick to go over.

Maxwell secured his brace in almost the exact same fashion as his first try, when he again reacted first to a lofty Pike kick into Bro territory for his second of the afternoon. Pike added the extras.

The scoring was complete in the closing stages when Lewis Horne went over after some sensational approach play from Ed Weston, and the result leaves Bro third-from-bottom in the WRU National League Division One North standings.
