ANGLESEY Circuit’s motorcycle racing season will be getting an unusual early visit from NG Road Racing this coming weekend.

The club normally travels to the island in August, but scheduling changes at other circuits has made their early visit necessary.

This will be the NG Road Racing club's first race weekend of the year as their test weekend at Pembrey was cancelled after the arrival of the “Beast from the East”.

As it is their first event, it's a tough one to predict. The more experienced riders will no doubt take it all in their stride, but it could throw up a few surprises as quite a few of last year’s front runners have switched classes and/or machinery.

The Anglesey Coastal Circuit is one that most riders love, but the weather can play a huge part in the weekend and therefore, the bike set up.

The nimble and fast 250 two stroke GP derived bikes are almost perfectly suited to the circuit layout, so you can expect great action there with three proven champions in Ant Hodson, Philip Atkinson and Dan Jackson vying for the 2018 title.

Sharing the grid will be the runners in the 125 GP National series and also the ever-growing number of Two Stroke GPs for their season with NG.

The full range of race bikes will be out on this stunning Anglesey coastal circuit.

With Powerbikes, 600’s, Streetstock, Pre Injections, Formula Prostock, Desmo Due Ducati's, Mini Twins and Super Twins, all set to compete, there is certainly something for every racer and race watcher to enjoy.

NG Road Racing will also be running and promoting the British National series for 125cc and 250cc GP machinery once again this year.

This is the only place in the UK that you will see these ex-GP machines racing for a full British Championship title backed by the Auto-Cycle Union, Britain's sports governing body.
