ARRIVA BANGOR picked up their first ever piece of Saturday League domestic silverware last Friday night as they beat Bodorgan to lift the Elias Cup.
Kevin Jones' side, who only joined the Anglesey League this season, came from two goals down to win 3-2 on penalties at Holyhead Hotspur's Oval Stadium.
Bodorgan had originally raced into a 2-0 lead before half time via goals from Luke Gardner and Gerwyn Williams.
However, Arriva striker Andy Clarke netted from the penalty spot before Gavin Pritchard equalised and forced the match into Extra Time.
After 120 minutes of action, the tie remained 2-2 and penalties loomed. Eventually, it was Arriva who held their nerve and went on to lift the Cup.
In the only Kon-X Anglesey League match of the weekend, Bryngwran Bulls hammered Llangoed Reserves 6-1.
James Ryan added yet another brace (to place himself as the division's top scorer with 52 goals) before Andrew Bailey, Matty Roberts, Iolo Jones and Nathan Lewis completed the rout.
