BRYNGWRAN Bulls continued their excellent form of late with a convincing 3-0 win over Kon-X Anglesey League leaders Valley Athletic.

The fixture, played on Friday night, was scheduled in place of the Megan Cup Final which had to be called off just a couple of days before.

A brace from James Ryan saw the talented striker take his tally of goals for the season to 36 before fellow attacker Nathan Lewis added the other.

The win takes The Bulls to 27 points, just a point behind Valley with a game in hand, and puts them in a good position to go on and possibly win the league title.

On Saturday afternoon, Mynydd Tigers' title chances were dealt a blow as they were held to a surprising 1-1 draw at home to Bodorgan.

Mike Holroyd scored for the home side, but Luke Allaway scored his 23rd goal of the season for Bod to make sure that the points were shared.

Elsewhere, Kevin Jones' Arriva Bangor side bounced back from consecutive defeats in style with a 6-0 win at Pentraeth Reserves.

Matty Jones scored and Scott Hughes added five goals of his own to hit the 40 goals mark for the season.
