ALL nine Kon-X Anglesey League sides were in action across several domestic competitions on Saturday as plenty of goals were scored.

Bryngwran Bulls reached the Dargie Cup final with a well-earned 2-0 victory at high-flying Valley Athletic.

Captain Andrew Bailey and winger Matty Roberts scored the goals for Richard Owen's side as they became the first team to keep a clean sheet against Valley this season.

The Bulls will now face either Mynydd Tigers or Caergybi in the final which takes place in April and for the first time in four years, will not include Valley.

Elsewhere, Caergybi crashed out of the NWCFA Junior Cup after a narrow 2-1 defeat to Bontnewydd of the Gwynedd League.

The Anglesey League side fared well against higher league opposition, but despite a penalty conversion from Elliot Patterson late on, they eventually crashed out as a goal from Morgan Roberts and a last minute winner from Ian Pleming sealed the win for the visitors.

In the Bwlch Car Boot Trophy, Llangoed Reserves came away with a 3-1 win at Pentraeth Reserves. Goals from Shaun Morris, Mathew Roberts and Phil Owen saw Dewi Williams' side progress to the Quarter Finals of the tournament.

Pentraeth Reserves will now play Llandegfan in a preliminary round tie to see who will be joining the other seven teams in the next round.

Two fixtures took place in the Kon-X Anglesey League on Saturday. The first match saw Arriva Bangor continue their fine form with a 9-0 win over Bodorgan.

The division's top scorer, Scott Hughes bagged yet another hat-trick as he took his tally for the season to 31 goals. Ben Hulse scored a brace, as did in-form Andy Clarke before Kieran Davies and Josh Royds completed the scoreline.

In the other fixture, Mynydd Tigers humbled Llandegfan with an emphatic 17-1 victory.

Midfielder Herbie Hofsteede was on fire as he bagged seven goals. Kieron Bullock grabbed a hat-trick and so did Ciaran O'Brady, Tom Eames hit a brace and Tomos Griffiths and Kyle Hartleb added the others.

The incredible result moves the Tigers into second place in the table.
