BRO Goronwy moved back to the top of the Gwynedd League with an emphatic 5-1 rout over Waunfawr.
Taylor Jones got the home side off to a flyer with a well taken effort on 28 minutes, but the visitors responded well after the break and levelled matters on 54 through Meurig Parry.
This provoked a strong response from the hosts, and they pulled two clear with a pair of strikes in quick succession from Jones, who completed his hat-trick on 64 and 67 minutes.
Andy Williams sealed the points after another sweeping attacking move on 75 minutes, and there was still time to put the exclamation point on proceedings when Carwyn Williams found the net on 87, leaving Bro one point clear of Holyhead Town having played a game more than their rivals.
Bontnewydd also remain in the championship hunt following a 4-0 triumph over Beaumaris Town.
First half strikes from Gari Owen and Aled Steele put them in command, and they managed to add two more late on with Ian Pleming and Phil McGrath hitting the target in the final minute.
Improving Nefyn United also picked up a victory on home soil, with an Iwan Roberts finish on 43 minutes enough to secure a 1-0 success over Menai Bridge Tigers.
