CAERNARFON Town have bolstered their squad with the signing of Shaun Cavanagh from Llandudno.

The talented forward has found chances limited at the Giant Hospitality Stadium this season, but the Cofi native possesses a great deal of ability having also turned out for Bangor City in the JD Welsh Premier League.

Manager Sean Eardley, said: “I’m delighted to bring Shaun Cavanagh in at this stage of the season.

“He adds to the attacking options we have and can be deployed in a few positions. After speaking with him he’s raring to go and determined to give his all for the team, the fans and his hometown club.

“I’d like to place on record my thanks to Iwan Williams and Llandudno secretary Victor for making the transfer a smooth process.”

The 20-year-old playmaker stated that the opportunity was “too good to turn down”, and is looking to aid the Canaries in their bid to win promotion from the Huws Gray Alliance.

“Having been born and bred in the town I’ve always said that I would like to play for Caernarfon one day and it’s fantastic to be given this opportunity,” he added.

“I can’t wait to put the shirt on and play in front of the supporters, most of whom I know and hopefully I’ll be able to help the team into the Welsh Premier League.”
