BANGOR City have been handed a home tie as they look to book a place in the JD Welsh Cup semi-finals.
Kevin Nicholson’s men entertain fifth-tier giantkillers Penydarren BGC in the last eight after their narrow 3-2 victory over after a narrow triumph over Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, with the clash set for the weekend of March 3-4.
Llandudno have also been handed a home draw and will clash with Newtown after advancing by the slimmest of margins against Ruthin Town, while JD Welsh Premier League heavyweights Connah’s Quay Nomads and The New Saints of Oswestry Town collide in what is arguably the tie of the round.
Aberystwyth Town will travel to top-flight basement dwellers Carmarthen Town with a place in the final four up for grabs.
