A GOAL by Richard Owen on quarter of an hour was enough to seal the Huws Gray Cymru Alliance points last Saturday against Welsh Cup giantkillers Guilsfield.
Richard Owen headed home a Jason Harvey corner but Llanfairpwll failed to put away other openings to allow them to relax.
Keeper Dave Littleford tipped over a Harvey effort, but Ben Heald – back from injury – excelled with a double save at the other end from Ben White.
Billy Evans failed to find Owen in a good position, while Kelvin Fraser rued a good chance set up by Harvey, and Littleford saved well from Ian Burgess and Darren Hughes in the closing stages.
