BANGOR seconds made Dolgellau suffer after opener Richard Parry was dropped in the first over and he capitalised by top scoring with 76 as the hosts posted 201 for 7 in their Readers Romida North Wales Cricket League second division match.

Teenager Luke Jones made an unbeaten 34 before Ian Morgan (3 for 10) and David Hughes (3 for 16) scuttled the visitors for a meagre 68, opener Tony Slattery carrying his bat for just 25.

Menai Bridge seconds turned the tables on Anglesey Alumini
um in their third division encounter after finishing runners-up to their nine wicket victims in division four last season.

Danny Surgey (5 for 50) and Steve Jones (4 for 24) were the wreckers as Anglesey Aluminium were bowled out for 142, Peter Hickson finishing with an unbeaten 34.

The hosts lost an early wicket before Cefyn Owen (76no) and Stuart Williams (43no) out on 135 to see their side home.
