Bingley’s new £13 million health centre was throwing open its doors to the public today.
Doctors in the Bingley Medical Practice and Springfield Surgery are now based at the canalside centre in Kingsway.
Dr Simon Gazeley, of Springfield Surgery, said: “The open day is a great opportunity for anyone to come and look round this wonderful building and talk to our staff about what services we can offer in the future, ask any questions and share any concerns they may have.”
During the open day, there were to be demonstrations of the new self-care rooms where patients can check their blood pressure, weight, BMI and use the internet to get healthcare information.
The new health care centre was developed over the past 18 months by Bradford and Airedale Care Partnerships Limited, a joint public-private venture.
