BANGOR City’s top scorer last season, Chris Simm, has left the club to sign for league rivals Airbus UK.
The 29 year-old rippled the net on 21 occasions for the Citizens last season, and signs for the Broughton club despite being presented with a ‘good offer’ by City.
The marksman signed from Chester last summer, having featured for Wrexham, Leigh RMI, Hyde, Southport and Chorley previously.
City manager, Nev Powell, said: “It'll be a loss because of his goals. We made Chris a good offer but unfortunately he couldn't accept it.
“Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it, lads are going to have to want to play for Bangor and all I'm interested in are players who want to play for the shirt. That's the way that football's gone now.
“We wish Chris all the best.”
