Bangor face Moldovan trip

BANGOR City have been drawn against Moldova Premier Division outfit Zimbru Chisinau in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.

Nev Powell's men will travel to the capital city to face their opponents, who finished third in the Moldovan top flight last season.

The first leg will take place at the Zimbru stadium in Chisinau on July 4, before they play host to the eight-time Moldovan champions in Nantporth on July 12.

City have been in training over the last few weeks in preperaion for the tie, and have two friendlies planned before the first leg.

The Citizens face fellow Europa League qualifiers Cefn Druids at The Rock tomorrow, before making the trip across the Irish Sea to face Linfield on Saturday.
