Harrison, said: “This is another big step forward in terms of our preparations for next summer’s tournament, and it is hugely exciting to have a game like this on the horizon where we’re bringing so many of the island’s talents together to showcase the standard of footballers Ynys Môn.

“We’ve got 40 players coming together from a host of clubs across the Welsh footballing pyramid and we’re very lucky to be able to select from such a strong group of players.

“What has become clear in planning this fixture, is that we’ll certainly have to arrange another in future because there is so much talent out there that I want to take as many opportunities as possible to bring as many players as I can into the fold to give them a chance to stake their claim to be involved in what will be a brilliant tournament, and one we're aiming to win.”

The first Ynys Môn Men’s Football Trial Game will take place on Wednesday, October 17 at Holyhead Hotspur (7.30pm), free entry.
