GWALCHMAI closed the gap on Gwynedd League leaders Menai Bridge Tigers with an emphatic 5-1 home win over Llanystumdwy.

The promotion candidates fell behind after 26 minutes when Bradley Williams gave the away side the advantage against the run of play, but this was met by a strong response from the hosts and Gethin Davies levelled matters immediately following the restart on 27.

After the break saw the hosts completely dominate proceedings, and they took the lead for the first time in the contest after 55 minutes when Cory Sinnott continued his excellent start to the season with another neat finish.
