LLANGEFNI Town have been handed a tricky home test as they look to make their mark in the JD Welsh Cup this season.

The Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One title hopefuls will host Saltney Town in the second qualifying round, with Chris Roberts’ side looking to put a good cup run together after going unbeaten in the third tier so far this term.

Arguably the tie at the round sees Llannrug United travel to rivals Llandudno Albion, with Holyhead Town looking to cause an upset when they host Llanberis.

In-form Division One leaders Nantlle Vale welcome Mynydd Llandegai, and Llanrwst United face a stern test of their recent resurgence when they take on ambitious Brickfield Rangers.

St Asaph City and Prestatyn Sports are both at home against Pwllheli and Barmouth and Dyffryn United respectively, and Llandudno Amateurs have been rewarded for their hugely impressive win at Amlwch Town with a trip to Greenfield.

Ryan Harden’s Llandyrnog United entertain Rhydymwyn as they look to progress to the next stage, with Penrhyndeudraeth also on home soil against Coedpoeth.
