CAERNARFON Town mark their return to the JD Welsh Premier League with a home clash against Europa League qualifiers Cefn Druids.

The Huws Gray Alliance champions have been chosen by S4C Sgorio for a live television clash on Sunday, August 12 on their return to the top flight following a memorable unbeaten run under new boss Sean Eardley that saw them finish ahead of Denbigh Town in the standings.

Trips to Newtown and Cardiff Met then follow on August 17 and 24, before they close out the month with a tie against champions The New Saints of Oswestry Town at The Oval.

Eardley will see October as a crucial month with home form key to their chances of survival, with Bala Town, Newtown and Connah’s Quay Nomads all visiting the Cofis during the midway point of Phase One.

A huge crowd is expected to attend their Boxing Day clash against Llandudno, which sees former manager Iwan Williams return to his old stomping ground to take on the man he brought to the club in Eardley.

They make the trip to Tudno over a busy festive period on New Year’s Day, before closing out their first stage fixtures at home to Carmarthen Town and away at Bala Town.
