HOLYHEAD Hotspur manager Darren Garmey has bolstered his attacking options with the signing of Harry Galeotti.

The talented forward arrives at The New Stadium following a successful spell at Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One runners-up Llangefni Town, where he played a significant role in their success last season to further enhance his growing reputation throughout the region.

Galeotti was one of Chris Roberts’ standout performers and managed to hit 14 league goals as he finished just three points behind eventual champions Conwy Borough.

The new Spurs boss, said: “Harry is another player that I have watched closely over the last 18 months, and I am certain he has all the attributes to be standout performer in the Cymru Alliance.

“He is super confident and has a fantastic work rate. He also has the ability and a hunger to take on the defender at any opportunity which is what really caught my eye.

“He will no doubt be a favourite with the supporters and I can not wait to see him in a Holyhead shirt.”

Galeotti becomes the fourth new signing since Garmey took over from Campbell Harrison as he looks to improve the club’s fortunes after a difficult Huws Gray Alliance campaign last term.

The new boss also revealed that he is working on “two or three” new faces, adding: “We want to add to the existing squad which will leave us with a very strong group of players ready to start the campaign.”
