CAERNARFON Town have pulled off a transfer coup with the signings of Cai Jones and Sion Bradley.

The duo penned their respective deals with the JD Welsh Premier League side on Tuesday, and they arrive at The Oval after a hugely successful spell with Porthmadog.

Manager Sean Eardley has tracked the pair for a number of months, and they are set to significantly boost the Cofis’ attacking options ahead of their return to the top flight.

Bradley was one of the Huws Gray Alliance’s top performers last term and was regarded as one of the best young talents operating anywhere in the region at spells with Bangor City and Penrhyndeudraeth.

Jones is no stranger to the Canaries having been part of Lee Dixon’s squad during their sensational treble-winning campaign in 2013, and the pair netted 23 goals between them for Port to further enhance their growing reputations.

Eardley, said: “I'm made up that Cai and Sion have agreed to join us this season.

“Cai is someone we tracked last year and were interested over Christmas. He stayed with Port and notched a few more goals and remained on the radar. He will give us a physical presence and I'm sure he'll notch a few goals and cause defence problems.

“Sion is and will remain a promising young player for a couple more years. He's done exceptionally well at Port the last couple of years and he's relishing the opportunity to perform at the top tier of Welsh football.”

The news takes Eardley’s signings for the transfer window to four, with Ross Stephens and Ben Maher moving to the club last week from recently relegated Prestatyn Town.
