OUTGOING Bangor City manager Kevin Nicholson has ended his time at the club with an award.
The talented young boss enjoyed a fantastic end to the campaign with the Citizens, where they achieved second place in the top-flight standings after a final day triumph at Bala Town.
This has resulted in Nicholson receiving the JD Welsh Premier League Manager of the Month honour for April as he looks to find work at another club during the summer.
Nicholson decided to depart the VSM Stadium along with assistant Gary Taylor-Fletcher following their relegation to the Huws Gray Alliance after failing to obtain an FAW Domestic Licence.
The manager has stated he is “open-minded” about his next move within the game, adding: "I want to help a club or organisation to achieve success on the field, to develop its young players and create the basis for building a successful future.
"I am passionate about the game and have dedicated my professional life to it. I hope the right club or organisation will allow me to be their custodian.
"The great experiences I have had at Bangor City have made me hungry to continue developing and help clubs and organisations to achieve their goals.”
This is the latest recognition for the squad after a standout campaign, with Dean Rittenberg, Luke Wall and Matthew Hall all up for the WPL’s Young Player of the Season distinction.
