ALL NINE Kon-X Anglesey League teams are set to take part in various domestic competitions throughout tomorrow (weather permitting).

The tie of the weekend looks set to be the mouthwatering semi-final contest between Valley and Bryngwran Bulls in the Lucas Oil Dargie Cup.

It certainly looks as though it could be a tightly contested fixture between the sides who are currently leading the way in the Kon-X Anglesey league table.

Valley, who are top of the league, have been scoring goals for fun with their attacking trio of Justin Williams, Mike Williams and Konner Druce all having reached 20+ goals already.

The Bulls have been just as impressive at times and have worked hard as a team to get 24 points on the board.

It should be a closely fought battle between two great teams who are gunning for silverware.

Elsewhere, Valley's rivals Caergybi will host Gwynedd League side Bontnewydd in the prestigious North Wales Coast Junior Cup.

Playing at Millbank may give the home side a slight advantage, but the visitors are a strong side who score lots of goals and often keep things tight in defence.

Striker Gary Jo Owen will be looking to add to the 27 goals he has already netted for Cybi this season in what could be a tricky tie for them.

The eventual winner will go on to face Valley in the quarter finals of the tournament.

In the first of two Kon- X Anglesey League fixtures taking place on Saturday, Arriva Bangor will face Bodorgan.

It looks like being a very attack-minded match as both sides have prolific strike partnerships up top.

Arriva have Andy Clarke (nine goals in past four matches) and Scott Hughes (28 goals) whilst Bodorgan have Luke Allaway and Danny Connolly, who have hit just under 40 goals between them so far.

In the evening kick-off, Llandegfan will take on Mynydd Tigers at Bangor City's 3G pitch.

The home side suffered a heavy 15-1 defeat last time these two sides met and they will have to put in an unbelievable performance to get anything out of this one this time around too.

Finally, the two reserves sides, Pentraeth and Llangoed will meet in the Bwlch Car Boot Trophy in what should be yet another entertaining encounter.
