ERYRI Harrier Russell Bentley breezed to victory in the Bangor 10k last weekend.
More than 550 lined up for the start of the third running of the event, which continued to grow in popularity.
In perfect running conditions, the race route took competitors to Penrhyn Castle and Garth Pier before finishing on the High Street, which was populated with hundreds of spectators.
Bentley eventually led the field home in a time of 33.06, by a margin of one minute and 51 seconds from second-placed team-mate Brendan Rothery.
Mossley Hill AC’s Guy Roberts took third place in the mens in a time of 36.42.
Georgina Outten of Birchfield AC dominated the womens race from start to finish to claim victory and third place overall in a blistering time of 36.20.
Second lady Jenna Brown of Mossley Hill was over five minutes back, while Cybi Strider Tracey Llywelyn came through to take third place in 42.42.
Also taking part in the race was the Chronicle field sales representative Lisa Shepherd, who finished in an impressive 47.28 to take ninth place in the ladies race.
