RGC 1404 are hoping to follow up the sell-out success of the Welsh Under 20s matches at Eirias Park with some record-breaking matches of their own.

The senior regional squad are hoping to draw a record crowd for their match against Georgia next Saturday, March 31, their first outing at the new £6.5m stadium.

Chris Horseman, RGC 1404 head coach, said: "The players coaches and management are all really looking forward to our first game at our home ground EIRIAS.

“The North Wales support at the Wales Under 20s games has been tremendous and we are looking forward to a large home crowd for this top class fixture."

Mally Tidswell, centre manager at Eirias, said: "Following on from a good crowd at the under 18's game in December and excellent crowds for the under 20's internationals in February and March, rugby has proven it has huge support from the North Wales public.

“The RGC versus Georgia game is an excellent opportunity to see another high class rugby game and I am sure the Georgian squad will be given a great North Wales welcome that was given to the previous visitors to EIRIAS."

Tickets, priced at £10 for adults and free for children, are available from Eirias Park, on 01492 577900, or from the Venue Cymru box office on 01492 879771.
