HIGH-flying Morawelon crashed out of the Megan Cup after they were beaten 5-1 by Aberffraw.
Ffraw took the game by the scruff of the neck, and scored in the third minute through Gary Bolton.
Richard Roberts doubled the lead just three minutes later, before a Bolton penalty gave the unfancied visitors a three goal lead on 10 minutes, which they preserved until half time.
Morawelon hit back in the 50th minute courtesy of a Rocky Thomas thunderbolt, before the impressive Bolton added a further two strikes in the 60th and 70th minute, to cap a memorable win for five-star Ffraw.
In the Bet Fred trophy, Llanerchymedd managed to tame Menai Bridge Tigers as they won by a 3-1 verdict.
Dave Flynn opened the scoring for hosts Menai Bridge, before Andrew Bailey equalised on the stroke of half time.
The second half was very evenly balanced until the closing stages, when Bailey popped up with a crucial strike in the 89th minute, before he completed his hat-trick a minute later to snatch victory for Llan.
The league fixture between Pentraeth and Cemaes Bay, as well as the Dargie Cup 1st round clash between Amlwch Town Reserves and Treaddur Bay United were both casualties of last weekend’s adverse weather conditions.
