ANGLESEY rugby sensation George North made a record-breaking impact on the world stage.

North, 19, became the youngest player to score a World Cup try, grabbing a brace as Wales trounced minnows Namibia 81-7 Pool D in New Plymouth on Monday.

Warren Gatland’s men are on course for a quarter final spot after running in 12 tries, with Scott Williams scoring a hattrick and Stephen Jones earning a record 101th cap for his country.

Wales should face a much tougher test against Fiji in their final group match in Hamilton on Sunday (KO 6pm New Zealand time).
