THE weather smiled on Bangor, whose last two matches were abandoned, but they could not produce a performance to match.
Bangor put Mold into bat, who had mixed fortunes at the crease, before David Soothill posted 54 to help them to 135 all out.
Sion Gwyn took four wickets for Bangor, and Australian all rounder Shane Mott weighed in with four.
Mott also notched up 46 runs, and Kevin Williams scored 30, but it was an otherwise disappointing day at the crease for the visitors, who reached 129 all out.

GERALLT Roberts took five wickets as Menai Bridge secured a comfortable victory away to Brymbo.
Roberts, Robbie Jones with three wickets and Ashley Wood held Brymbo to 145 all out.
Openers Luke Jones (40) and Nathan Shearer (64) had strong showings at the crease, while Robbie Jones (26) and Danny Creek completed the scoring, as Menai reached 145 for 2.

A SCORE of 58 from Ben Parker was the one bright spot in a disappointing innings for Pesda, as the visitors were all out for 120.
Things did not improve much in attack, where Aled Jones and Johnathan Williams took one wicket each.
Jonathan Phillips, with 50 runs, and Nicholas flack with 42 were the prime movers as the North West Walian easily surpassed Bethesda's target with 124 for two.

A GOOD performance from all-rounder Barry Lander could not save Bodedern from defeat to visitors Shotton as Presaddfed.
Shotton put Bodedern into bat, and Lander hit 55 runs as the home side as the home side reached 155 all out.
Lander also got four wickets, alongside one apiece from Wayne Eccles and Gareth Thomas, but Shotton held firm to get the win with 152 for seven.

BATSMAN Philip Westall notched up 74 runs, but the impressive performance could not inspire Anglesey Aluminium to victory.
Myrddin Griffiths (23) and Dafydd Rhys Spens(27) were the best of the rest as the home side were all out for 165.
Darren Nixon was the highest scorer for Denbigh Seconds with 73 as Denbigh eased to victory, despite three wickets each for Spens and Daniel Jones.

Chris Jones took three wickets for Bangor, but 49 runs from Daniel Williams and 50 from Arthur Thomas helped Gresford reached the visitors' target for the loss of three wickets.

A steady showing from Menai Bridge's batsmen, which included 31 from Steven Thomas, ensured victory for the home side with just four wickets lost.
