Bangor win by 102 runs


A GOOD day at the office for opener Duncan Midgley helped Bangor secure a comfortable home victory.
Midgley hit 57 and Robert Marshall scored 48 as Bangor surpassed Brymbo’s total of 88.
Bowler Iwan Roberts impressed for the home side with six wickets for 18.
Jamie Griffiths put in Brymbo’s best showing the crease 25, before he was caught out by Iwan Roberts.
Next up for Bangor is an away encounter with Pontblyddyn on Saturday.

Winning draw for Menai Bridge


NATHAN Shearer and Danny Creek, on 51 and 53 respectively, were the architects as Menai Bridge declared on 178 for nine.
The home attack started strongly, with Gerallt Lyall out for six, John Lee Rowlands only scoring four and Ben Wilcox Jones out for a duck.
Denbigh took a more defensive approach and held on for the draw, as Menai Bridge struggled to break down the Denbigh tail end.
Menai Bridge will be away to Conwy on Saturday.

Anglesey Aluminium win by 40 runs


Bowler Dafydd Rhys Spens grabbed five wickets for 11 runs as the home side restricted Bala to 71 all out.
Peter Parry also impressed with three for 18.
Meanwhile, James Taylor hit 41 as the home side surpassed the visitors’ total with 111 for seven.
Anglesey Aluminium will look to continue their winning ways at Shotton on Saturday.

Carmel and District win by 10 wickets


DEREK Johnson and Barry McGaughty made light work of Bethesda’s total of 66 all out.
Rhisiart Jones was the most impressive performer at the crease for Pesda with 38 runs, as Oliver Saynor and Dafydd Timothy picked up five and four wickets respectively.
John hit 39 and McGaughty got 25 as Carmel easily reached Pesda’s target.

Llanrwst CC win by 132 runs


A POOR showing from the away side’s batsmen led to a comprehensive defeat at Llanrwst.
Opener Stuart William posted just six, while scored Paul Jones was out for a duck, as Menai Bridge struggled to 79 all out.
Paul Lucas was the best of the Menai Bridge bowlers with four wickets for 50, Trefor Williams hit 72 as Llanrwst declared on their after their eighth wicket.

DAVE Phennah hit 50 as visitors set Bangor a target of 131 after their ninth wicket.
Bangor opener Colin Meek scored 40 runs, by the away side could not resist the home attack, and were all out for 121.

Carl Wannop was the star of the show with 59, as Menai Bridge Thirds posted 257 for nine.
Anglesey Aluminium Seconds could not reach their hosts’ total, despite an impressive 57 from Callum Andrews.

Gwersyllt Park 2nd 11 win by three wickets


THE home side put Bodedern into bat, and opener Martin Roberts hit 29 as the visitors set a target of 123 for seven.
A disappointing afternoon for the Bodedern attack saw Gwersyllt win with 127 for seven.



Bodedern vs Hawarden Park Second 11 and Bethesda vs Llandudno 2nd 11 were cancelled.
