GWYNEDD councillors have approved their council’s plan for the next five years which highlights the authority’s priorities.
The comprehensive plan lays out what Gwynedd Council currently provides for the people of Gwynedd, priority improvements it wants to achieve and how it intends to deliver them.
Gwynedd Council leader Councillor Dyfrig Siencyn said: "In essence, the Council Plan is a straight-forward document which maps out how we intend to deliver the best possible services for the people of Gwynedd.
"I’m confident that we have managed to include the priorities put forward both by Gwynedd people and councillors.
"In particular, I’m pleased that we have been able to include a series of more local priorities alongside the county-wide plans.
"Of course, as Gwynedd residents are well aware, there is no way of ignoring the harsh cuts to council budgets imposed on us by the government.
The Council’s Plan for 2018-2023 period is at the Gwynedd website: www.gwynedd.llyw.cymru/councilplan and paper copies are available from the Council’s libraries and Siop Gwynedd one-stop-shops at Caernarfon, Dolgellau and Pwllheli.
