AN unmissable opportunity has arisen to see the rugged beauty of Wales through the eyes of some of the country’s leading artists.

Art enthusiasts have until the end of the month to take a tour in brush strokes of some of the areas most breathtaking landmarks through an expertly curated selection that traverse a range of disciplines and styles in Oriel Tegfryn's Landscape/Tirwed exhibition.

The Menai Bridge exhibition will collect the works of a dizzying array talent with works by Keith Andrew, Karina Rosanne Barrett, Richard Barrett, Keith Bowen, Neil Canning, Martin Collins, Daniel Crawshaw, Tom Gerrard, Iwan Gwyn Parry, Darren Hughes, Eleri Mills, Peter Moore, Gareth Parry and Peter Prendergast.

Established in 1963 the Tegfryn is one of Wales' oldest galleries and has a long and respected history.

It continues to display work by many of North Wales' leading artists, including William Selwyn, Gwilym Prichard, Wilf Roberts, Claudia Williams and Mary Lloyd Jones.

Most notably, it has also had a very close association with Sir Kyffin Williams over many years.

The Landscape/Tirwedd exhibition runs at Oriel Tegfryn until Wednesday, February 28.

Entry is free and the gallery is open from 10am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday and from 11am until 4.30pm on Sunday.
